Supporting Race Against Dementia

Frames of Legends Jackie Stewart is created in partnership with Race Against Dementia, the charity founded by Sir Jackie Stewart. A fixed amount from every copy sold is donated to fund pioneering research into the prevention and cure of dementia.

  • €150 from the sale of each Circle Edition copy is donated to Race Against Dementia.
  • €150 from the sale of each Schlegelmilch Signed Edition copy is donated to Race Against Dementia.
  • €500 from the sale of each Stewart Signed Edition copy is donated to Race Against Dementia.

Race Against Dementia is a charity registered in England and Wales, founded in 2016 by three-time Formula One World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart. It funds pioneering, fast-tracked research into the prevention and cure of dementia.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Edition

Nothing in this edition is arbitrary. 99 is the total number of Formula One races Jackie Stewart entered during his career. 27 is the number he won. 7 is the number of moments Rainer W. Schlegelmilch chose to document in this book — one for each chapter of a story that changed the sport forever. The edition is not just about Stewart. It is built in his image.

This edition is a strictly limited edition of 133 numbered copies, produced in three tiers: 99 Circle Edition copies, 27 copies signed by legendary motorsport photographer Rainer W. Schlegelmilch, and 7 copies signed by Sir Jackie Stewart himself. Once sold, this edition will not be reprinted.

Yes. Every Framebook carries its own unique number, recorded physically and digitally. Your number appears on the Framebook, on the certificate of authenticity, and is permanently linked to your membership page.

Every edition includes the Framebook, a fine art poster reproducing one of the seven photographs from the edition, the certificate of authenticity, a booklet narrating the seven moments documented in the book, a pair of cotton handling gloves, and a care guide to preserve your Framebook over time.

Orders & Production

The first numbered batch ships in September 2026. If your copy is in that first batch, it ships within approximately two weeks of your order, with constant updates along the way. From the second batch onward, production and shipping times may vary depending on the queue. Each Framebook is produced in small batches, with rigorous quality control applied individually to every copy.

Your private membership page shows the live status of your specific copy at every step, and our concierge is available at any time to confirm the expected timing of your copy.

The standard this edition demands — from the magnetic Framebook system to the fine art prints to the NFC integration — requires individual inspection of every piece. Producing in batches of at least 10 copies allows our production team to maintain that standard without compromise. We believe that is worth the wait.

Yes. From the moment your order is confirmed, your private membership page reflects the status of your copy in real time, including photographs taken during quality control and before shipment. You can also reach our concierge for a personal update at any point.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship from Switzerland to all European Union countries, the United Kingdom, and within Switzerland. Shipping is included in the price for every destination.

Shipping is included in the price of every edition. Your Framebook arrives fully insured, with no separate delivery charge at checkout.

Yes. Every shipment is fully insured and handled through a premium logistics service. Your Framebook travels with the same care with which it was made.

Frames of Legends Jackie Stewart is an editorial product registered with an ISBN, which qualifies for the reduced cultural VAT rate applied to books in Switzerland and in most EU countries. The price you see is the final price: import VAT and customs clearance are already included, with nothing further to pay on delivery. We handle every customs formality, wherever you are, so your Framebook arrives with nothing left to think about.

Returns & Damage

Because each copy is produced individually to order and assigned a unique number at purchase, Frames of Legends is classified as a made-to-order product and is therefore exempt from the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. We ask that you purchase with this understanding. This does not affect your mandatory rights if the product is defective or arrives damaged.

Every shipment is carefully packaged and insured, but if damage occurs in transit, please photograph both the outer packaging and the damage immediately upon receipt — before unpacking further. Contact us through the form on our website within 24 hours of delivery, including your order number and photographs. We will respond within 24 hours and resolve the situation without delay.

NFC, AR & Membership

Your Framebook comes with three NFC chips — embedded in the Framebook, in the display frame, and in the certificate of authenticity. Each chip connects to your personal membership page and to the edition’s digital experience layer. A single tap with any modern smartphone is all it takes — no app required.

Your membership page is personal to your copy. It gives you access to augmented reality content linked to each of the seven photographs, curated historical archive material, and production documentation specific to your Framebook — including quality control photographs taken before shipment. For signed editions, it also includes a photograph of your copy at the moment of signing. Members receive early access to future edition announcements and invitations to related events.

Every purchase of a Circle Edition copy grants Circle Member status. Every purchase of a signed copy — whether Schlegelmilch or Stewart — grants Signature Club status, with access to additional content specific to the signed tier, including the signing photograph.

Ownership can be transferred. The new owner registers the NFC chips in their name, and the membership page updates accordingly. The full history of the piece — its number, its production record, its provenance — remains permanently attached to it.

No. Registration is entirely optional. The Framebook, the poster, the certificate, and all physical contents are complete without it. The NFC system is an additional layer for those who want it — not a requirement for anyone.

Certificate of Authenticity

The certificate is printed on premium paper stock and contains the edition name, your copy number, the tier, and detailed information specific to that piece. It carries the signature of the founder and includes its own NFC chip. It is a document of record — designed to travel with the Framebook for its entire life.

Pre-registration

Pre-registration is free and carries no obligation. By registering your interest, you will be among the first to be notified when the signed copies become available — ahead of any public announcement. No payment is required, and registration does not reserve a copy.

Charity

Yes. Frames of Legends is a partner of Race Against Dementia, the charity founded by Sir Jackie Stewart. From each sale we donate €150 for a Circle Edition copy, €150 for a Schlegelmilch signed copy, and €500 for a Stewart signed copy. See “Supporting Race Against Dementia” for the full details.

Shipping & Delivery

Last updated: 21 August 2026

We ship from Switzerland to all European Union member states, the United Kingdom, and within Switzerland.

The first numbered batch ships in September 2026. Orders are scheduled into production and dispatched in numbered batches, each produced in small batches and individually quality-controlled. If your copy is in the first batch, it typically dispatches within approximately two weeks of your order, with regular status updates sent to you along the way. From the second batch onward, production and shipping times may vary depending on the queue. These timelines are indicative and our concierge service can confirm the expected timing of your specific copy at any time.

Shipping is included in the price of every edition; there is no separate delivery charge at checkout. Every shipment is fully insured and dispatched through a premium logistics service, with end-to-end tracking.

The price you see is the final price. Orders are delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis: import VAT and all customs clearance are included, with nothing further to pay on delivery. As an editorial work registered with an ISBN, Frames of Legends Jackie Stewart qualifies for the reduced cultural VAT rate applied to books in Switzerland and most EU countries, and the correct rate for your country is already reflected in the price. We handle every customs formality, so your Framebook reaches you with nothing left to think about.

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address at the time of order. We accept no liability for non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.

If your shipment arrives with visible damage, note it with the carrier at the time of receipt, do not unpack further, photograph the outer packaging and the damage, and contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photographs. See our Returns & Refunds section for the full procedure.

Returns & Refunds

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Every Frames of Legends Framebook is produced individually to your order and assigned a unique number at the moment of purchase. For this reason it is a product made to consumer specifications within the meaning of Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, and the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. By completing your purchase you confirm that you have been informed of, and accept, this exclusion. Please order with this in mind.

This exclusion does not limit any mandatory rights you may have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence, including your rights where a product is defective or does not conform to its description, which cannot be excluded by agreement.

If your Framebook arrives damaged or proves defective, please:

  • Inspect the outer packaging on delivery and, if visible damage is present, note it with the carrier at the time of receipt.
  • Stop unpacking and photograph both the outer packaging and the damage.
  • Contact us through the form on our website within 24 hours of delivery, quoting your order number and attaching your photographs.

We will respond within 24 hours. Claims submitted outside this window may not be eligible for resolution under our insured-shipping process, without prejudice to your mandatory legal rights.

Where a claim is accepted, we will arrange a repair, a replacement copy where available, or a full or partial refund.

Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Refunds are normally processed within 14 days of our confirming the remedy; the time for the funds to appear depends on your payment provider. Under our Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) model no import VAT or customs charges are payable by you on delivery, so there is nothing of that kind to recover.

If you wish to cancel and your copy has not yet entered production, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate your request as a goodwill gesture, even though no withdrawal right applies.

Allocation Policy

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Frames of Legends Jackie Stewart is a strictly limited edition of 133 individually numbered copies. This policy explains how copies and their numbers are allocated.

The edition is produced in three tiers: 99 Circle Edition copies, 27 Schlegelmilch Signed Edition copies, and 7 Stewart Signed Edition copies. Once all copies within the edition are sold, the edition will not be reprinted.

Each copy is assigned its unique number at the moment of order confirmation (full payment). Within each tier, numbers are allocated in sequence in the order in which confirmed orders are received. The number assigned to you is shown on your order confirmation and is permanently linked to your Framebook, certificate, and membership page.

The Circle Edition is available for direct purchase while copies remain. The Schlegelmilch Signed Edition and Stewart Signed Edition are released separately; access is offered first to those who have completed pre-registration.

Pre-registration for the Signed Edition is free and carries no obligation. It does not reserve a copy and does not constitute a contract of sale. Pre-registered collectors are notified in advance of availability and are given priority access for a limited period; if demand exceeds the copies available, allocation among pre-registered collectors is made in the order of confirmed orders.

Copies are produced and shipped in numbered batches of at least 10. Allocation to a batch follows order confirmation date; your position is reflected on your membership page, and our concierge can confirm the expected timing of your copy.

If an order is cancelled or a payment fails, the associated number is returned to the pool and may be reallocated to the next eligible order. SAND SNC reserves the right to manage allocation fairly and to decline or cancel orders in line with our Terms & Conditions of Sale and AML Policy.

For higher-value purchases, in particular the signed editions, we may also accept payment by bank transfer on request, in which case the order is confirmed once cleared funds are received. We do not accept cash or cryptocurrency. Full payment is required before a copy is produced, and no copy is reserved without completed payment.

Because each Framebook is produced individually to the customer’s order and assigned a unique number at the moment of purchase, Frames of Legends constitutes a product made to consumer specifications within the meaning of Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. The standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. By completing your purchase, you expressly acknowledge that you have been informed of this exclusion prior to placing your order and that you accept it.

6.2 Mandatory Consumer Rights — Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection legislation applicable in your country of residence, which cannot be excluded by agreement.

7.2 Claims Procedure — If your Framebook arrives damaged, please do not unpack the item further. Photograph both the outer packaging and the damage, then contact us through the form on our website within 24 hours of delivery, including your order number and photographic evidence. Claims submitted outside this window may not be eligible for resolution.

7.3 Remedy — Where a claim is accepted we will arrange a repair, a replacement where available, or a full or partial refund at our discretion.

Each Framebook includes three NFC chips embedded in the Framebook, the display frame, and the certificate of authenticity. These chips link to the customer’s personal membership page and to the edition’s digital content layer. No application download is required; a compatible NFC-enabled smartphone is sufficient.

8.2 Membership Tiers — Circle Edition purchases grant Circle Member status. Signed Edition purchases (both Schlegelmilch and Stewart tiers) grant Signature Club status, including photographic documentation of the signing of their specific copy.

8.3 Registration — NFC registration is optional. All physical contents of the edition are complete and valid without digital registration. The NFC system is an additional layer and does not affect the physical or editorial integrity of the product.

8.4 Transfer of Ownership — In the event of resale or transfer of the Framebook, the new owner may register the NFC chips in their name. Ownership of the membership page transfers accordingly. The production history and provenance record of the copy remain permanently attached to its unique number.

8.5 Digital Content Availability — SAND SNC will make reasonable efforts to maintain access to digital content and membership pages for the foreseeable future. In the event of significant changes to the digital infrastructure, registered owners will be notified in advance.

Pre-registration for the Stewart Signed Edition is free of charge and carries no purchase obligation. By registering, the customer requests to be notified in advance of the public availability of these copies. Pre-registration does not reserve a copy, does not constitute a contract of sale, and requires no payment.

Donations are collected by SAND SNC and transferred to Race Against Dementia, normally every three months. SAND SNC does not hold charitable funds unless otherwise agreed in writing, and will provide an audit trail of partnership income to RAD on request.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law, with the exclusion of conflict of law provisions. The mandatory consumer protection provisions of the customer’s country of residence remain applicable where they provide greater protection than Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lugano, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory jurisdictional rules applicable under the law of the customer’s country of residence.

We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The version published on our website at the time you place your order governs that order.

Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) Policy

Last updated: 21 August 2026

SAND SNC is committed to preventing money laundering and the financing of terrorism in connection with the sale of high-value collectible editions under the Frames of Legends brand. This statement summarises the measures we apply.

As a business established in Switzerland, we act in accordance with the principles of the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA / GwG) and, where relevant, comparable EU requirements. We keep our procedures under review as our activity and applicable thresholds evolve.

We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe, and we may also accept payment by bank transfer on request. We do not accept cash or cryptocurrency. All accepted methods are fully traceable through the banking system and create a documented record of every transaction, which is itself an important safeguard against money laundering.

For high-value orders we apply enhanced due diligence before the order is confirmed and production begins. This may include verifying the identity of the purchaser, confirming that the originating bank account, billing details and delivery details correspond, and requesting information and supporting documentation on the source of funds. We may decline or delay any order until these checks are satisfactorily completed.

We monitor orders for indicators of unusual activity, such as attempts to pay anonymously or through a third party, reluctance to provide standard identifying information, requests to ship to a destination unconnected to the purchaser, or unusual patterns of purchase and resale. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, and to refund the payment, where we have reasonable concerns.

We retain transaction and customer records for at least ten years, consistent with Swiss accounting and anti-money-laundering record-keeping requirements, and handle them in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Where we have reasonable grounds to suspect that funds are connected to money laundering or another predicate offence, we will fulfil any reporting obligations to the competent Swiss authority (the Money Laundering Reporting Office Switzerland, MROS).

Questions about this policy can be raised through the contact form on our website.

This helps our team understand your interest and prioritise replies, on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries efficiently.

You can stop this at any time by turning off advertising cookies in our Cookie Policy (Your cookie choice).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

This Cookie Policy explains how SAND SNC uses cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) on www.framesoflegends.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Your cookie choice

Advertising cookies

They measure how our ads perform. Turning them off stops the Meta tags on this site and removes their cookies; the site works the same. The choice is saved in this browser only.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local and session storage, keep small pieces of information on your device in the same way. They allow the site to function correctly, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used.

  • Strictly necessary — required for the website to work: security and protection against automated traffic by our hosting provider (Cloudflare), secure payment through Stripe on the checkout pages, and remembering choices in your browser (your cookie choice, the email address you gave us so you don't have to type it again at checkout, and whether you have already seen our guide). They cannot be switched off and are set on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a functioning website.
  • Our own visit statistics — we count visits, the pages viewed, clicks, how far pages are scrolled and the time spent on them, together with the type of device, the country and the campaign that brought you, to improve the site. This uses no cookies: a random identifier is kept in your browser only for the duration of your visit and is deleted when you close the tab. These statistics are not shared with third parties.
  • Marketing cookies — set by the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure our advertising (see below).

We use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to show you relevant advertising on Meta's platforms. It sets Meta's cookies, such as _fbp and _fbc.

When you send a form or complete a purchase, we also share that event with Meta directly from our servers (Meta Conversions API): your email address and name in hashed (encrypted) form, your IP address, browser details and the Meta cookie identifiers, so that Meta can match it to the advertising you saw.

Marketing cookies are active by default. You can turn them off at any time (see Managing your choice). When they are off, the Meta Pixel does not load and nothing is shared with Meta from our servers.

On your first visit, a short notice tells you that cookies measure our advertising. You can turn advertising cookies off, or back on, at any time with the button at the top of this Cookie Policy (Your cookie choice). Your choice is saved in your browser: if you clear your browser data, or use another browser or device, you will need to make it again.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage how Meta uses your data for advertising in your Meta account (Ad preferences). Turning off advertising cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site or to buy.

Some cookies are set by third parties that provide services on our behalf: Meta (advertising measurement, see above), Stripe (secure payments and fraud prevention on the checkout pages) and Cloudflare (security for our hosting). These providers process data under their own privacy and cookie policies.

Session cookies and session storage are deleted when you close your browser or tab. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period: Meta's cookies up to 90 days, Cloudflare's security cookie 30 minutes. Choices saved in your browser, such as your cookie choice, remain until you clear your browser data.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in applicable law. The current version is always available on our website.
